About Adler & Stomel
For over forty years, Adler & Stomel has delivered premium legal representation to clients in Cumberland County, Gloucester County, Salem County, and Camden County. We provide aggressive representation for the injured and powerful defense for the wrongfully accused. We’ve secured millions of dollars for injured clients and protected the rights and freedom of thousands across South Jersey.

Terry Stomel
A founding partner of Adler & Stomel, Terry Stomel has tried more cases in South Jersey courtrooms than almost any other attorney in New Jersey. With over four decades of experience, he’s tried hundreds of cases and earned a reputation as one of the most battle-tested and creative criminal defense lawyers in the state.

He knows the judges. He knows the prosecutors. He knows the law. And most importantly, he knows how to win.

Terry has built his career on fearless, tireless advocacy. Whether defending the most powerful or the most vulnerable, he fights with the same unshakable commitment to justice. His wife likes to joke that he spends more time in the courtroom than in their own living room.

Terry brings deep-rooted relationships and strategic insight to every case. His trial instincts are second nature. His presence in court commands attention. If your future is on the line, you want Terry Stomel in your corner.

Adam Stomel
Adam Stomel brings relentless preparation and a plaintiff’s perspective to Adler & Stomel.
After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, Adam earned his law degree from Rutgers, where he finished his final semester with a 4.1 GPA, served as an editor of the *Rutgers International Law and Human Rights Journal*, and posted the highest individual score ever recorded by a Rutgers competitor in the Jessup International Law Moot Court.
Now practicing alongside his father, Adam focuses on plaintiff’s work and civil rights. He’s driven by the same principles that built the firm’s reputation: precision, creativity, and a relentless focus on winning.
